Mr. Sturmak presently serves as Partner at RLP Wealth Advisors. Bud is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner providing retirement plan consulting, asset management and financial planning solutions for individuals, families, non-profit organizations and corporations. Bud has led RLP’s development of sustainable/responsible customized investment solutions for individuals and institutions that integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) analysis.
Bud joined RLP Wealth Advisors in 2003, committed to his strong belief that he would be able to better serve his clients at an independent firm. Prior to joining RLP, Bud worked for large financial institutions including JP Morgan H&Q and Wells Fargo where he was part of a small team servicing high net worth executives and providing corporate services to leading companies in Silicon Valley.
Bud has also earned the ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY™ professional designation, awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies which provides formal training in investment fiduciary responsibility. Bud graduated from Dickinson College in 1995 with a B.A. in History. In 2009, Bud authored a white paper on fiduciary responsibility that was published in Employee Benefit News. In November 2010, Bud co-authored a study with Trucost which analyzed the effects of environmental, social and governance (ESG) analysis in U.S. equity mutual funds. Bud was a contributing author to the recently released book, “Evolutions in Sustainable Investing.” Bud is a board member of The Lisa Altobelli Foundation, which is currently involved in assisting cancer patients in the greater NYC area.
